We have undertaken several projects with BTCV (British Trust for Conservation Volunteers) with the various branches of the organisation using recycled plastic lumber to create steps, fishing pegs and fencing.
The BTCV Humber & East Yorkshire branch have sent us some images of a new section of decking added to the top of the steps previously installed at Flambourgh Head using our recycled plastic lumber
We supplied recycled plastic lumber profiles and decking boards, and the team of volunteers at BTCV created the frame and deck and installed it at the top of the new flight of steps.
The end result is a cost effective, easy to install yet totally maintenance free section of decking that will remain moss and algae free, and will never require treatment as the deck will not rot or erode.
BTCV is a fantastic organisation, working with 628000 volunteers a year on some fantastic projects and we look forward to working with them again in the future. Volunteering with BTCV is a great chance to get outdoors and work on some extremely important conservation projects and make a real difference to the community - click here to find out more

The technical department provides bespoke designs to suit client needs. From 3D concept drawings for consultations with installers, project managers and grant providers, to technical plans for construction purposes.

If you would like to visualize your project in Google Earth, models can be constructed according to your requirements and placed in the local context of your site. So, for example, if you are planning to develop your school playground on a limited budget and need concept drawings to show the various parties concerned, from the children who need to be involved in the design, to the education authorities who need to oversee the health and safety issues, we can model your plans in their context so that the best results are achieved at the best value.
With extensive joinery, building and landscaping knowledge and experience applied to innovations in the recycled plastic lumber industry, we offer a pragmatic and realistic approach to project management.

From bin, to the factory, into the wild!
I have just returned from the factory floor, and was fasinated by the process by which recovered plastics that otherwise would rest in (the frighteningly close to capacity) landfill sites of Britain, are turned into our recycled plastic decking & walkways.
It seems to me the only logical method of producing such a product, saving trees while removing waste from our environment
Anyway, heres the process in pictorial form

Shredded plastic coming in
Cutting to size with a circular saw
The result: Beautiful!
